The University of Oldenburg is publishing a proceeding series of books on the topic of material culture studies (Vermittlung der Studien zur Materiellen Kultur) that tries to answer questions related to the school subject 'Textiles Gestalten' (Textile Design) such as: How can Textiles Gestalten be teached in the 21st century and what relevance does it have in the digital age? This first edition reflects the results of an 18-week practice-based teacher trainingship for school subject “Textile Design”.
The minimalistic illustrations were developed to visualize key statements of each article and to reflect and connect the wide collection of the personal reports of the practice-based experiences of the future teachers.
